2025 Whole Dyslexic Society Program Sponsorship Funding Award
The Whole Dyslexic Society believes that individuals with dyslexia and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder should have causal correction methods available to them regardless of income and will provide program sponsorship for Davis® programs:
Davis® Mastery for Dyslexia (Age 8+)
Davis® Mastery for Math (Age 8+)
Davis® Foundations for Reading (Age 5-7)
Davis® Mastery for Attention (Age 8+)
Davis Autism Approach® (Age 8+)
Davis Stepping Stones® (Age 5-7)
Davis Concepts for Life® (Age 8+) & Davis Concepts for Life® - Early Years (Age 5-7)
Eligibility Criteria
Available to students of Canadian Facilitators with experience of providing a minimum of 20 programs.
Available for a child or an adult registered in Davis® Programs.
Applicant will have to demonstrate financial need, such as low income, single parent, unable to work for an extended period of time, or youth with no financial support. We award to an combined household income below $60,000.
Applicant must disclose any medical conditions/medication that are currently in effect.
Applicant has read or listened to (partially or completely) ‘The Gift of Dyslexia’ by Ronald D Davis.
Applicant has support training in place.
Application Process
Applications are accepted on a first come, first-serve basis from the date of receipt of fully completed application; not when the application form was originally requested.
Applications have to be awarded before the program commences. Please note funds are limited so please allow plenty of time to get your application.
We ask that Facilitators allow us sufficient time to arrange the interview with the applicant before the Board meeting vote which is typically the last Thursday of the month. Please contact info@thewds.org if there are extenuating circumstances with the timeframe.
